Green Travel Checklist

Zero Waste to Landfill by 2030
Zero Net Emissions by 2030
Zero Net Operating Impact to Forests and Habitat

At Grand Teton Lodge Company we, along with our parent company Vail Resorts, have made an Epic Promise to our communities across the planet and to the environment to achieve a zero footprint. We invite you to join us in protecting and preserving this special place for our wildlife, our community, and future guests.

What to Bring

  • Reusable Water Bottle (In an effort to reduce single-use plastic, bottled water isn't sold in the park.)
  • Reusable Coffee/Travel Mug
  • Reusable Grocery Bag
  • Reusable Containers
  • Reusable Cutlery
  • If camping, bring a bag for storing separating recyclable items at your site. (Recycling bins are located throughout the campgrounds.)

During Your Stay

  • Use your water bottle at our water filling stations located at each property.
  • Place recyclable items in one of the many recycling bins located near your lodging or throughout the park.
  • Turn off your lights when you leave for the day. Unplug chargers when not in use.
  • Opt into our Sustainable Stay Program at Jackson Lake Lodge, Colter Bay Cabins, and Headwaters Cabins.
  • Say "yes!" to the Grand Teton National Park Foundation donation at check in.
  • Follow park speed limits and save our wildlife. Unfortunately, many animals are hit by speeding cars each year.
  • Consider taking a park tour or using a shuttle to enjoy the scenery without the stress of driving and to reduce area traffic.
    • Park shuttle information is available at our Activities Desks.
    • Town of Jackson START Bus
