2020 Season Operating Update

Colter Bay Campground, Jenny Lake Campground, Gros Ventre Campground, and Headwaters Campground are closed for the 2020 season.

Jenny Lake Campground

Truly one of the crown jewels in camping, the Jenny Lake Campground is situated within walking distance from Jenny Lake and is right along the Grand Teton National Park bike path. All campsites have a picnic table, a fire pit, and nearby flush toilets. There are no shower facilities on site, but several are within a short drive. The campground has 49 individual tent campsites and 10 sites designated for hikers and bicyclists.


All individual campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please refer to the campground fill chart for the most up-to date fill times.


The Jenny Lake Store offers firewood, ice, clothing, souvenirs, and snacks.  It is a 5 minute walk or less from your site. The store is open early May through late September.

Individual Tent Sites (RV's and trailers are not permitted)

Jenny Lake has 3 ADA accessible sites with accessible picnic tables, leveled sites, and leveled paths to accessible restrooms, no showers are available. A payphone is available at the campground kiosk. Routes through the campground are paved and generally level. The trail to the amphitheater is not wheelchair accessible, the trail is uneven gravel with encroaching vegetation and rock. 

Hiker/Bicyclist Sites



  • U.S. citizens or permanent residents with permanent disabilities can apply for an Access Pass through the National Park Service. Designated ADA sites are held for visitors with the Access Pass until 5:00 pm, at which time any unclaimed sites are offered to the general public/those on a wait list for one night. 
  • All applicable utility fees are include in the rates above. Cash (US currency only) and checks accepted ONLY. No credit cards accepted.  Checks must be payable to Grand Teton Lodge Company.
  • All nights are paid in full at the time of check-in. Early departures are non-refundable. The maximum stay permitted at Jenny Lake Campground is 7 nights, and the maximum cumulative stay between all park campgrounds is 30 nights.
  • Guests may check-in any time of day that there is an unoccupied site. Check-out is 11 AM.
  • No trailers, truck campers, pop-up rooftop tents, or generators are allowed and vehicles cannot be over 8-feet high or 14 feet long.
  • Maximum allowed per site is two tents, one vehicle, and six guests. (For reference, 2 motorcycles = 1 vehicle)
  • Quiet hours are 10pm - 7am.
  • Camping accommodations are pet-friendly. Please review Campground & National Park Pet Regulations.
  • Wildlife activity is prevalent in the park. Please be familiar with food storage and wildlife safety guidelines.
