No trip to the Old West is complete without a horseback ride through Grand Teton National Park. Seeing the magnificent Teton views from horseback, the same way the early explorers traveled, will create a lasting connection between you and the surrounding land.

We offer 1- and 2-hour horseback rides departing from Jackson Lake Lodge and Colter Bay Village, and  1-hour rides from Headwaters Lodge. Take in the beautiful vistas while riding among wildflower meadows and pristine lakes under the towering Teton peaks. Our wranglers will guide you along the trails while providing insight into the area's history, wildlife and flora. Horseback riding at Jenny Lake Lodge is available to guests staying at the Lodge.

Restrictions apply, so please inquire with our Reservations and Activities Desk staff.

We also offer wagon rides out of Colter Bay Village that include a freshly prepared breakfast or dinner along with panoramic Teton views. The wagons are uncovered, giving you great views the entire way. They are the perfect family activity, as there are no age or weight requirements. Our wagon rides are very popular, so be sure to book in advance!
