When can I book a wedding reception at Jackson Lake Lodge?Our operating season is typically the third week of May through the first week of October.

Should I estimate high or low on attendance for my reception?The most consistent occurrence with events planned in Grand Teton National Park is the number of attendees – they consistently exceed the numbers planned. Everyone wants to come to Jackson Hole, and your wedding is the perfect reason. Wedding guests often make vacation plans, complete with activities for the entire family. Be sure to plan and budget accordingly for your number of anticipated guests.

What airlines fly into Jackson Hole Airport?Jackson Hole Airport (JAC), the only airport located within a National Park, is serviced by American, Delta, Sky West, United, United Express and Northwest Airlines. Due to the popularity of Jackson Hole throughout the year, we recommend that your guests book early for the best flight schedules and airfares. Jackson Lake Lodge is located 26 miles north of Jackson Hole Airport. This beautiful drive through Grand Teton National Park takes approximately 35 minutes.

Does Jackson Lake Lodge provide Wedding Planning Services?Our Conference Services team will assist you with logistics including menu planning, wedding cake selection, room design/layout, audio-visual requirements, basic timing & schedule of reception events. We also provide a list of preferred vendors for officiates, entertainment, flowers, photographers and beauty services. On the day of the event we will ensure that the room setup requirements are to your specifications, and outlined on the Banquet Event Order. Your Conference Service Manager may also be hired for day-of wedding event coordination to include customized wedding itinerary, ceremony and procession, managing arrival and setup of vendors, and the timing of key reception events including the bridal party entrance, toast, first dance and cake cutting. This fee will also include coordination of your rehearsal the day before the event.

Can I book hotel rooms at Jackson Lake Lodge?Most destination weddings are planned with enough lead-time to allow your guests to reserve accommodations on their own. We suggest that you provide our Central Reservations number (800-628-9988) with your save-the-date cards, and on your website. Our trained reservation agents will be able to assist your guests with availability, individual budgets and the different types of accommodations available at our unique lodging facilities including Jackson Lake Lodge, Colter Bay Village and Jenny Lake Lodge. Due to the popularity of Jackson Hole during the summer, remind your guests to plan and book well in advance. We sell out every night in July and August! Wedding group blocks for 15 or more rooms may be contracted through our Conference Services Department, require advance deposits (2 nights lodging per room blocked) and are subject to attrition clauses.

Can our wedding ceremony be held outside at Jackson Lake Lodge?In conjunction with a wedding reception at Jackson Lake Lodge, we will reserve the Southwest Terrace on the grounds of the hotel for your ceremony. White folding chairs and a breathtaking view of the Tetons await your wedding guests. This area is open to the public, however, hotel guests are extremely respectful of wedding ceremonies. Weather can be a concern for outside events in Jackson, and a backup location is always assigned in the main lodge. Our team will assess the current conditions and consult you on the final weather call one hour prior to your ceremony, while you relax in the comfort of your changing suite.

What types of event facilities are available for my wedding reception?The Explorers Ballroom The Trappers Room The East Mural Room East Mural Group Dinner Seating Option: If your group is smaller than 100, group reservations can be made in the East Mural Room for your dinner reception. Other hotel guests will be seated near your party and the rental fee will be waived, however standard food minimums apply.

What is the cost of our reception and dinner?All event spaces at Jackson Lake Lodge are subject to a room rental fee and food & beverage minimum purchase. The total cost of your wedding reception is based on your menu selections. Events can range from a simple cocktail reception to an elegant four-course dinner, depending on your taste and budget. Rental fees range from $750 to $3000 and include all tables, chairs, dishes, glassware, flatware, service staff and basic linens. Food and beverage minimums range from $2,000 - $15,000, and are subject to tax and gratuity.

Is there a Bride’s Changing Room at Jackson Lake Lodge?Based on availability, we will reserve the Wyoming Room changing suite, at no additional charge for the bridal party. This large hospitality room features oversized sofas, complete bathroom, full-length mirror, lighted make-up mirrors, refrigerator and ample closet space. Arrangements can be made for light food and beverage service through the Lodge.

Can Jackson Lake Lodge provide my wedding cake?As part of your reception contract, the wedding cake and all food served for the wedding reception must be provided through Jackson Lake Lodge. You can choose from our elegant package designs, or work with our team to create a special cake that reflects your style and taste. This cost will be applied to your minimum food & beverage requirement.

Does Jackson Lake Lodge offer airport shuttle service?Airport shuttle service is available through Alltrans in the town of Jackson. Reservations must be made in advance by calling 307-543-3135 and providing flight number, arrival, and departure times. Alamo, Avis, Hertz, National and Budget car rental agencies are located at the airport.

What activities are available at Jackson Lake Lodge for my guests?Jackson Lake Lodge provides a variety of guest activities for any type of traveler including float trips on the Snake River, horseback riding, Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park tours, hiking, and fly fishing. Just 5 miles north of the lodge guests enjoy the Colter Bay Marina complete with breakfast and dinner cruises on Jackson Lake, boat rentals and guided lake fishing. Our Reservations Department 800-628-9988 can assist your guests in planning their itinerary (space is limited and frequently sold-out upon arrival) and booking space.

Can I book an activity for my entire wedding party?Group activities may be contracted directly with our Conference Planning department at 307-543-3005. Please note that all activities are weather dependent, operate on select days of the week and have minimum/maximum capacities.

Is there a National Park entry fee?All guests entering Grand Teton National Park are charged per vehicle. This fee is valid for seven days entry to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks.

Can I charter a private bus for excursions and offsite events?Customize your own itinerary with our charter service. Private buses are available for National Park tours, day-trips to Jackson and shuttle service to offsite wedding ceremonies and rehearsal dinners. What options are available for a rehearsal dinner?We offer many exciting and unique options for your rehearsal dinner, depending on time of the season and number of guests. Snake River Float & Western Steak Fry Elk Island Dinner Cruise (Private events require a minimum of 76 guests and are available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays; Private events NOT available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. How do I secure wedding and function space?Contact our Conference Planning department, at 307-543-3005, for availability. A contract to confirm your function date and space will be issued. The signed contract, along with an advance deposit equal to the function room rental charge, is required within 30 days of the contract issue date.
