Pioneer Grill

For a less formal setting, the Pioneer Grill offers breakfast, lunch and dinner in a classic 1950’s-style service, the Pioneer Grill at Jackson Lake Lodge is one of the oldest and rumored to be the longest continual counter, of all soda fountains still in use today. One counter snakes through the room, creating a friendly atmosphere where guests interact with travelers and employees from around the world. While not in conversation, you can gaze at the authentic pioneer artifacts on display – and be sure to ask our staff for the historical depiction created to tell you more about each item.

Executive Chef Josh Conrad has introduced to Pioneer Grill, generous portions of classic American food like buffalo burgers and pan-seared rainbow trout, hot sandwiches and timeless classics like homemade meat loaf or homemade chili. Take-out service is also available if you prefer to relax back at your cabin underneath the pines on your patio or balcony and enjoy the view of the Teton mountain range. Just be sure to save room for our famous desserts. In fact, many return each night to the Pioneer Grill around 9pm for a family nightcap of homemade ice cream a la Dusty Glacier or Mount Owen or a Teton Treat. Pioneer Grill boasts of its milk shakes made from homemade ice cream.
