Pioneer Grill

In true 1950’s-style service, the Pioneer Grill at Jackson Lake Lodge is one of the oldest, and rumored to be the longest continual counter, of all soda fountains still in use today. One counter snakes through the room, creating a friendly atmosphere where guests interact with travelers and employees from around the world. While not in conversation, you can gaze at the authentic pioneer artifacts on display – and be sure to ask our staff for the historical depiction created to tell you more about each item.

Then the food arrives—generous portions of classic American food, including buffalo burgers and pan-seared rainbow trout. Take-out service is also available if you prefer to relax back at your cabin underneath the pines on your patio or balcony. Just be sure to save room for our famous desserts. In fact, many return each night to the Pioneer Grill around 9pm for a family nightcap of ice cream a la Dusty Glacier or a Teton Treat.
