Scenic Rafting in Grand Teton National Park

A guided Wild & Scenic Raft Trip down the Snake River is by far our most popular activity and one any visitor to the area should not miss! Scenic trips are offered throughout the day, and lunch trips are also available. Float a beautiful and scenic 10-mile stretch of the river inside Grand Teton National Park while our experienced river guides share in-depth knowledge about local flora and fauna and the area's rich history. Take in amazing Teton vistas and get opportunities for incredible close-up views of local wildlife, including bald eagle, moose, bison, elk, osprey, and beavers. With a lunch trip, you'll dine picnic-style at our private meal site right on the banks of the Snake River in the shadow of the Teton Mountain Range.

Wild & Scenic Raft Trip Policies

Trips offered by Grand Teton Lodge Company are not white-water rafting trips, and are designed as a casual scenic adventure. You should not expect to get wet, although with all rafting activities there is a level of inherent danger.
Round-trip transportation from Jackson Lake Lodge to the Snake River is included for all trips.
All guests must be at least 6 years old and have less than a 58-inch chest circumference to wear the required lifejacket.

Enjoy 10 miles of stunning views while searching for wildlife and learning about the park from your knowledgeable guide. Multiple departures daily from mid-May through early-October, water levels permitting.

Trips last 3-4 hours, including transportation. Departs from the lower lobby of Jackson Lake Lodge.
Wild & Scenic Lunch Raft Trip

Make your trip even more memorable with lunch at our private meal site on the banks of the Snake River under the towering Tetons. This Western cookout includes burgers, hot dogs, fruit, potato salad, coleslaw, dessert, coffee, tea, and lemonade.

Daily departures at both 8:30 AM (with lunch following rafting) or 11:00 AM (with lunch prior to rafting), water levels permitting. Trip lasts approximately 4-5 hours, including transportation. Departs from the lower lobby at Jackson Lake Lodge.
