Horseback RidingNo trip to the Old West is complete without a horseback ride through Grand Teton National Park. Seeing the magnificent Teton views from horseback, the same way the early explorers traveled, will create a lasting connection between you and the Grand Teton landscape. We offer short and longer horseback rides at Jackson Lake Lodge and Colter Bay Village that take you to beautiful vistas, where you can see everything from Jackson Hole to the boundaries of Yellowstone. Horseback riding at Jenny Lake Lodge is only available to guests who stay at the Lodge. Restrictions apply, so please inquire with our Reservations and Activities Desk staff. |

| Jackson Lake Lodge Standard RideA two-hour ride that heads north, crosses the willows, and then climbs to the high ground east of Christian Pond before reaching Emma Matilda Lake. On our return trip, we pass the Oxbow Bend Overlook. Standard Adult or Child (8-11) $75 Jackson Lake Lodge Short RideShort one-hour rides are scheduled daily with afternoon departures at 3pm. Minimum/Maximum of 6 guests per ride.

| Colter Bay Village Standard RideA two-hour ride that heads past Colter Bay to scenic Jackson Lake Overlook with stunning Teton views and travels past Heron Pond to Swan Lake and winds through lodge pole pine forests. Standard rides are scheduled daily with morning departures. Minimum/Maximum of 12 guests per ride. Adult or Child (8-11) $60 Colter Bay Village Short RideA one-hour ride past Colter Bay to scenic Jackson Lake Overlook with stunning Teton views and travel past Heron Pond and loop back through a lodge pole pine forest. ![]() | Colter Bay Village Breakfast or Dinner Wagon RideJoin us for a western themed Wagon Ride. Take part in this historic horse drawn wagon trail journey into Grand Teton National Park wilderness. This trip is open for all ages and is the perfect way to experience the Park with the entire family. The wagon departs from Colter Bay Village Corrals every Monday through Saturday and travels through the scenic Willow Flats area. Breakfast offers a variety of western cuisine including; pancakes, breakfast potatoes, bacon, scrambled eggs, and hot "cowboy coffee" to start your morning out right. Your mountain dinner includes all natural local Wyoming beef patty on a bed of thinly sliced Idaho potato, onions and carrots, wrapped in foil and cooked on the bonfire, salad, cowboy beans, corn on the cob, rolls, hot chocolate, tea, s'mores, and our famous "cowboy coffee".
