In and Around the Town of Jackson
- The Jackson Visitor’s Center can be found just as you enter town on the left-hand side of the road. In addition to educational information, the staff here can provide area information and recommendations for exploring Jackson Hole…and how often do you encounter a grass-roofed building?
- Town Square is a must see with the elk antler arches and historical statues. Did you know these arches are made from naturally shed antlers collected annually on the Elk Refuge by the Boy Scouts?
- Mountain adventures can be found on both Snow King and in Teton Village. In addition to fun hikes, the chairlifts and gondolas used in the wintertime are often running to take summertime visitors to the top of the mountains.
- Festivals, Farmers Markets and Rodeo’s - a true Western town would not be complete without special events throughout the summer. Ask around and you are sure to find that there is something going on throughout the summer months to add a touch of the true West to your vacation here in Jackson Hole!
